Hanseatic potential. The interface of Bremen’s inner city. As an active centre in Germany’s northwest region, Bremen’s downtown area presents visitors an attractive combination of a historical setting, a diverse programme of cultural events and a variety of retail shops. CityInitiative Bremen Werbung e.V. has been actively representing the interests of downtown businesses currently comprising around 170 member enterprises to ensure constant further development of the town centre. In the past 19 years we have managed to establish constructive cooperation between politics, administration and the retail trade and to make use of it to achieve the common objective: upgrading Bremen’s town centre.
